Michael Strange

Michael Strange leads the Texas Education Agency’s Case Library team, overseeing the administrative functions and dissemination of the library across Texas.

Sungwon Shin, Ph.D.

Dr. Sungwon Shin leads Texas Tech University’s TEA Case Library project and trains the Case Development team. She identifies and plans with model teachers, oversees the development of individual cases, and manages the website.

Heather Greenhalgh-Spencer, Ph.D.

Dr. Heather Greenhalgh - Spencer supports Texas Tech University’s TEA Case Library project in recruiting model teachers and managing partnerships with Texas school districts.

Dr. Sojung Huh

Dr. Sojung Huh is a postdoctoral research associate at Texas Tech University, where she contributes to the TEA Case Library project by developing and managing a wide range of cases. Her research focuses on enhancing teacher training for both pre- and in-service K-12 educators.

Fatemeh Marzban

Fatemeh Marzban is a doctoral student in the Instructional Technology program at Texas Tech University, where she also serves as a research assistant. With a background in industrial design, Fatemeh is passionate about improving human learning experiences through research and design. She has experience in various design fields, and her scholarly pursuits focus on interactive learning environments, human-computer interaction, learning experience design, mental fatigue, and usability.

Burcu Stone

Burcu Stone is an instructional designer at Texas Tech University Online and a doctoral student at the Department of Instructional Technology at Texas Tech University. She contributes to the TEA Case Library project by developing a wide range of cases, editing case recordings, and assisting team leaders on case trips.

Deniz Bulut

Deniz Bulut is a doctoral student and research assistant in the Educational Instructional Technology Program at Texas Tech University, specializing in teacher education and instructional design research.

Ector County ISD

Ross Elementary was built in 1956 in the communities of Odessa and Ector County. Ross serves PK - 5th grades and is an Opportunity Culture Title 1 school with approximately 420 students. The school has a culture of coaching and feedback. Ross Rams value growth and strive for excellence. Opportunity culture is a support system that leads to excellent instruction in the classroom which directly impacts Ross Scholars.

Terrell ISD

Dr. Bruce Wood Elementary serves students in grades PK - 5th grades and is located in the city of Terrell, Texas. Wood Elementary proudly serves approximately 600 students and offers a number of academic, STEM, and Fine Arts programs to ensure students are ready for middle school and beyond.

Little Elm ISD

Little Elm Independent School District (ISD) is a public school district in Denton County, Texas. One of the Texas’s fastest-growing school districts, Little Elm ISD serves students who reside in the communities of Little Elm, Frisco, Hackberry, Lakewood Village, Oak Point, and The Colony. Raise Your Hand Texas

Raise Your Hand Texas (RYHT) is a nonprofit organization focused on improving public education in Texas. RYHT advocates for policies that support high-quality education and equitable funding for schools and provide resources and support to educators, such as professional development opportunities and tools to enhance teaching. They also engage with communities to build support for public education and encourage local involvement in education issues. RYHT’s goal is to ensure that every student in Texas has access to a high-quality education and to support the educators who make that possible.

Charles Butt Foundation

The Charles Butt Foundation is a philanthropic organization established by Charles Butt, the Chairman and CEO of H-E-B, a major supermarket chain in Texas. The foundation focuses on improving public education in Texas, with an emphasis on supporting teachers and enhancing educational opportunities for students. Key areas of their work include: teacher support, education reform, community engagement, and grants and funding. Dr. Suhkyung Shin

Dr. Suhkyung Shin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. She earned her doctoral degree in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University Bloomington and completed her postdoctoral training as a research associate at Texas Tech University before assuming her current position. Previously, she co-led the Personalized Learning Case Library, which was supported by the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation. Dr. Shin assists the project team in reviewing cases for the TEA Case Library.
